The Exeter story
Key Contact: Revd Edwina Fennemore
The Diocese of Exeter is continuing its work in responding to modern slavery and exploitation, through journeying with the national Church of England and engaging with local, national, and international initiatives and organisations.
The Diocese of Exeter is committed to praying for an end to modern slavery in Devon, and around the world. We acknowledge that different communities need different training, and so we are focussing on effectively resourcing coastal, countryside and city areas by listening and responding to those local contexts. We are working with key partners to raise awareness of exploitation, such as The Devon and Torbay Anti-slavery Partnership, Transforming Plymouth, South West Regional Anti-Slavery Partnership and Caritas Plymouth.
