On October 4th 2025 thousands of people around the world will gather, in different venues, to tune into The Global Freedom Summit, a one-hour visual presentation. The focus of this year’s summit is the growing crisis of online child sexual exploitation. Through powerful stories, insights from experts, and practical training, the presentation will bring the reality of online childhood sexual exploitation to light and invite viewers to be part of the solution.

Online child sexual exploitation and human trafficking are deeply interconnected, often overlapping in ways that fuel each other. Online sexual exploitation covers a range of illicit activities, including the creation, distribution, and possession of child sexual abuse images (CSAM), sextortion, and enticing a child to engage in sexually prohibited activity, among others. Online child sexual exploitation is one of the most urgent crises of our time, with its severity growing at an alarming rate every day.

This innovative, global event is designed to equip, inspire, and mobilise people to play their part in abolishing modern-day slavery. A21’s hope is that local events of this nature are more scalable for hosts and enable more people from across the globe to participate. They hope to combine the accessibility of online events with the power of in-person gatherings.

Screening events, like the one Lois is attending in Liverpool, will take place throughout the month of October!
